| Information | I am an experimental photographer: I find in photography the perfect means to express myself.
I am currently using a Canon 7D and my lenses of choice are
- canon 50mm prime 1.4 II
- canon 50mm prime 1.8
- tokina 100mm AT-X PRO 1:1 macro
- sigma 10-20mm
- sigma 17-70mm 2.8
- canon 55-250mm IS
For film: I use a Kodak Retinette viewfinder, a Canon Canonet QL17 rangefinder and a Minolta 300si.
Thierry Huchet http://7089.portfolio.artlimited.net/ changed every thing about photography to me when he answered one simple question.
One simple question and my skills went to a whole different level.
I do understand French perfectly, so feel free to comment at will. I will reply in English, though.
I am currently using a Canon 7D and quite a few lenses.
I am here to enjoy art and learn from my fellow artists. Thank you for your visit.
You can call me Daniel, it's my real name.
Take care.
PS - Because a few people have asked me this:
When I started into photography nearly 3 years ago, I was so amazed with aquatic long exposures I tried everything but couldn't teach myself to do it. So I researched and researched and asked a few dozen photographers. No one replied to me and no one was willing to reveal their methods. Then I asked Thierry and he said "Use an ND400 filter".
That simple answer changed my whole experience as a photographer. Sometimes if we share the simplest detail, we can have an incredible pedagogic impact on someone. That simple gesture of friendliness, which for so many was kept selfishly and ridiculously like the biggest secret in the world, was the starting point on my route to express myself through photography as Art.
Hence why I share everything I've learnt.
:)
